Keep Pinellas Beautiful, Inc. (KPB) is proud to bring the Dream Machine Recycling Rally, a collaboration between PepsiCo, Waste Management and Keep America Beautiful, that utilizes Greenopolis.com, to all interested Pinellas County schools. The Dream Machine Recycling Rally is an exciting program that aims to raise awareness of the importance of recycling among students, grades K-12, that allows schools to earn rewards and chances to win prizes – all while helping to save the plant and supporting post -9/11 disabled U.S. veterans.
Earn Rewards
As part of the Dream Machine Recycle Rally, students are encouraged to collect non-alcoholic beverage containers (plastic bottles and aluminum cans), and bring them in to school to help earn rewards. Participating schools earn points redeemable with local businesses and major retails, such as sporting goods, electronics, gift cards, educational events, and music , books and videos. The more students recycle the more rewards their school can earn!
Win Prizes
Participating schools may be eligible to win one of over seventy-five prizes, such as a $50,000 Dream Green School Makeover grand prize for :green improvements” to be rewarded to the eligible school with the highest average number of bottles and cans collected per student from August 1, 2011 through April 30, 2012
